Craft is a Swedish company that specialises in Nordic Ski, Bike, Run, Training wear and have a very impressive range of Base Layer. I have been looking at a few of the products aimed at runners and have been impressed with what I have seen.

Over the last few weeks I have regularly used the Devotion Jacket, Devotion T-Shirt and the trail shorts. I have also got the Prime running tights but the weather has been too warm so far to give them a proper run out.

The trail shorts are a very impressive pair of running shorts. These are 2 in 1 trail shorts so include a pair of tight and supportive Lycra shorts. The inner shorts can extend above the waist band allowing you to use the draw cord for an extra secure fit.  The mesh gusset at the crotch also assists with the breathability of the shorts. The shorts come with five pockets across the back of the shorts and an additional zip pocket also at the back.

The shorts are designed and built to an extremely high standard to incorporate all you will need while out on even the longest of trail runs. I really like the pockets across the back, four of which are the perfect size to hold your running Gel of choice. I found the fifth and a lot larger product also very handy and capable of carrying extra nutrition products or maybe some jellies to give you a sugar boost when needed. The zip pocket which I think is essential on any good pair of shorts is the perfect size to hold your car keys.

My marathon training is now in full swing and I have used the shorts now on a variety of run. I have always found them to be very comfortable and extremely breathable no matter what the distance. When I looked at them at first I was not sure about the inner shorts but I have been pleasantly surprised with the added support they provide. I also really like the reflective detail on the shorts allowing you to be seen even in low light.

The shorts come in a variety of colours and sizes and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a top quality 2 in 1 short.
