Dare 2b are a British company who specialise in top quality affordable clothing. They have an excellent selection of clothing aimed at runners, Hikers and cyclists. Over the last few months I have regularly used the Dare 2B STALWART JACKET. During that time it has never let me down it has been used in heavy wind, torrential rain, showers, sunny days and even snow.

The Stalwart is made up of a fully seam sealed ARED V02 20,000 coated polyester fabric. It’s extremely breathable with taped seems and even in the heaviest showers you do not have to worry about getting wet because the Stalwart does a great job at keeping the rain out. I really like the way the rain drops form into beads and simply roll off the jacket. The Stalwart has two way under arm ventilation zips I found these great when cycling in and walking on warm days. The Stalwart has comfortable, adjustable roll away hood and comes with a very strong front zip with an inner zip that helps keep the wind and rain out.

One thing I love in a jacket is plenty of pockets and the Stalwart certainly has that. There are two zipped chest pockets that are constructed with water repellent zips, they are a good size with plenty of room for your mobile phone, compass and car keys.  The stalwart also has two waist pockets that are larger than the chest ones that also have the added reliability of water repellent zips. When out for walks I love to listen to my music, the internal zipped pocket is perfect to hold your mp3 player allowing you to feed the cables from your mp3 player up through the jacket keeping it nice and dry.

The stalwart is windproof, waterproof, breathable well-built jacket that I think is perfect for your daily commute, Hiking, Walking and cycling short distances I have used it running but found it to be too heavy for that. I highly recommend this jacket as a good reliable breathable jacket.
