As I mentioned earlier Hunt work with the best companies in the industry and have a wheel building partnership with Mr. Hao-Cheng a master wheel builder who himself has built many thousand wheels during his career. That matched with the rigorous QA process ensures you get a great product that has been thoroughly tested by the end of production.

Over the last few months I have been using the Hunt 30 carbon aero disc wheelset and I have been very impressed with them from start to finish. To start things off you select your wheelset and choose between Campagnolo, Shimano, SRAM after making your selection you will see your pre order delivery date. The waiting period can vary from being in stock to several weeks but on average looking now it is a 2 to 3 week time frame. The product arrives well packaged in a large Hunt box and comes with your Cassette spacer for 8/9/10 speed, axle adapters that are required for your bike, additional spokes and a Quality Control Card that is signed off by the individual that built your wheel; I found that to be a very nice personal touch from the company.

I made a small mistake when ordering the Wheel set and ordered the wrong axle adaptors and skewers, one quick call to Hunt and problem was solved a new set were sent straight out and arrived very quickly.  I ordered the Hunt 30 carbon aero disc wheelset with Schwalbe pro one tubeless tyres and was so looking forward to trying them out so a quick trip to my bike mechanic to add the disc brakes and I was ready to go. First off Visually they look great and have attracted comments from many cyclists, but more importantly feel great when on the road. They are extremely light at 1347g for the pair and very responsive.

You really notice the difference during your hard training session they are extremely responsive when doing a sprint session, pushing up and powering down the hills and living where I live there is no lack of hills to train on. They are easy to ride on in all terrain and in any condition, they are very agile going downhill and great at cornering. All Hunt wheelsets come with a two year warranty and a 60 day try and return policy.

There really is a lot to like about the Hunt 30 carbon aero disc wheelset and in my opinion they tick all the boxes for anyone looking to upgrade to a top quality light weight disc wheelset at a very reasonable price £899.. I tested these on my Cannondale Synapse and the difference between them and my previous wheelset was massive from the weight difference, the agility, to the responsiveness of the wheel set, everything was top class . In today’s market it is not unusual for cyclists to change bikes pretty regularly and one of the things that stands out for me is the adaptability of this wheelset allowing you to adapt the wheels to any current axle standard and move them with you when upgrading your bike. The customer service from Hunt is incredible, I had to contact them on a few occasions and they dealt with all my queries very promptly and professionally, something that is very rare these days.

Overall the Hunt 30 carbon aero disc wheelset is a great upgrade for any road user and you find it very hard to find a disc wheel set that will compete with these. The addition of the  Hunt 30 carbon aero disc wheelset has massively improved my Cannondale Synapse and for me it is an upgrade that any serious road cyclist should be looking at. Having not used any Hunt products up to this I have been extremely impressed with them from start to finish and look forward to watching this company grow looking at more of their products in the  future .I highly recommend  the Hunt 30 carbon aero disc
