One thing you need to be prepared for in Ireland and the UK is windy conditions while camping. I have been using the Quest Leisure Windshield Pro of late and have been very impressed with it and for me, it ticks all the boxes.

Quest Leisure is a UK Company that has over 30 years experience in the caravan, camping and outdoor leisure industry and has partnered with Westfield Outdoors to produce this product and many other furniture products.

The windshield comes n a carry case that includes a storage bag for the poles, a bag for the pegs and the Windshield itself. Constructing flat pack furniture is not one of my strengths and when It came to putting the Windshield together I had expected a lot of difficulties but thanks to the detailed instructions I had no such issues and it was up and in use after 10 minutes. The Quest Leisure Windbreaker does not come with guy ropes and instead features a unique aluminium pole system. The poles are fully adjustable with a small screw fitting on each leg connecting into a metal floor plate that is secured down by a metal peg. They also have two additional holes for more pegs if required.  Each of the canvas panels has a pole securing it to the floor that in turn connects to a pole across the top of the panel that connects to the support pole and into the floor plate.

This is not your typical windbreaker the material is a Canvas 210D PU Coated Oxford Polyester that includes a Windows Superclear Transparent Foil. The height is 140 cm and 480 cm wide and weighs 5.9kg. The Windshield is very much extendable you can add on another Windshield Pro, Additional panel including a door.

I found that you have a lot more space available to you with the Quest Windshield Pro as apposed to using the typical guide rope system.  Its very well made and its without doubt the strongest windbreaker I have ever used. I really like the adjustable pole system it came in very handy when we were camping on uneven ground. The multiple pegging points makes me believe that this product will stand up to worst weather conditions the UK and Ireland can offer. I like the clear window style top on the Windshield allowing you take in the scenery around you. I think this offers the perfect level of protection from the wind and sun. Its not the cheapest Wind shield on the market but its well worth the cost . I would highly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a top quality product. Its the perfect addition to anyone camping or looking for a windshield for their Caravan Or Garden.
