When it comes to running clothing Ronhill are always considered the top of the pile and there new trail range is extremely impressive.

Over the last few weeks I have been regularly using a few products from the trail range including Trail Microlight Jacket, Trail Cargo Short, Trail short and long sleeve Zip Top I have divided these into three reviews so here is my feedback on the Trail Cargo Short

The Trail Cargo Short are made of a flexlite fabric, they are very lightweight and breathable with inner brief and draw cord waistband allowing you to adjust them to your liking.  The shorts are treated with water repellent to help you stay dry if running in the rain. The shorts come with 4 elasticated loops across the back of the shorts designed to carry gels during your long runs. They also have a large zip pocket at the back of the shorts.

I have used the shorts on a lot of runs and found them to be a very practical and extremely comfortable pair of running shorts. Ronhill seem to have everything covered. The pocket at the back of the shorts is extremely useful with the capacity to carry a variety of items including an inhaler, car keys or a mobile phone. I was not sure about the 4 elasticated loops but I was very pleasantly surprised they hold gels in place perfectly allowing you to run without the worry of losing one during your run.  I found the shorts to be extremely light allowing for the breathability you need during your longest of training runs.

The Trail Cargo Shorts are built to the extremely high level of quality you would expect from a company like Ronhill. They come in three different colours and sixes S to XL.  I would highly recommend these shorts for any short or long distance runner.
