Zempire was founded in Christchurch New Zealand company in 2006. They started distributing into the UK in 2011. Due to their high quality reliable products they have grown each year and are now regarded as one of the leader in the Camping industry in Europe. I will be the first to admit that I am a fan of the Zempire range of products and over the last few weeks I have used the Zempire Lowstow Cupboard on our recent camping trip and its very quickly established itself as a very important piece of kit for our future travels.
The Zempire Lowstow Cupboard comes in a carry bag making it very easy to transport. The cupboard has 4 aluminium edged shelves and a removable MDF table top with zip closed doors, ventilation at the rear of the cupboard and 2 pockets either side of it. The Cupboard is constructed with an extremely strong steel and rust resistant frame and the fabric is a 400D Polyester material. The Cupboard is very light and portable at 7.8kg or 17.1lb and a Packed Size: 98 x 49 x 8cm.
What we loved most about this cupboard was its versatility and how lightweight it was. We stored spare bedding on one side and toiletries on the other (that’s for a family of five, yes it’s THAT spacious!). The cupboard was initially stored in our sloped porch area, the fact that it was low meant it could be up against the wall without being in the way. However when we had some damp weather we moved it inside the main living area of the tent which was incredibly easy due to how light it was. And once inside we actually used it as a table to eat at as we didn’t have one that fit inside. I told you it was versatile! It is safe to say that this cupboard has a firm place in our boot for all our future camping adventures.
Pockets at the side came in very handy for storing flashlights
