Over the last few months, during the Covid 19 lockdown, I have used a massage gun 2.0 provided by Shane in Massage Gun Ireland regularly and to say I am impressed is an under statement.  The product is great value at a price of €285. It is a more powerful unit than it’s predecessor with 5 vibration settings and a speed setting that goes up to a massive 3200 percussions per minute. The battery power is very impressive, Massage Guns Ireland state 5 hour battery life and it achieves that stated value and more depending on the speed you use. The gun comes with six interchangeable heads that allows you to adapt the massage head to work on a variety of areas of the body. The Gun comes with a really nice case with slots for each of the components.

I suffer a lot with planter fascitis and despite regular stretching and foam rolling this still becomes an issue. I have found the massage Gun really helps with this and depending on what sport your focusing on you can adapt your routine with the gun to suit. Example when cycling I would tend to focus more on the Hamstrings, Quads and Calves but when swimming more on the arms and shoulder area so no matter what the exercise is you can adjust your routine to suit. This is not just for recovery you can also use it to help with warming up the body and getting the blood flowing to the areas you need in advance of exercise, a quick 5 minute routine prior to exercise really helps.

The customer service provided By Shane in Massage Guns Ireland is second to none and any question I have had was always answered very promptly and that is probably why many of the leading Irish athletes are using his products. I have tried a large variety of massage guns over the last few months and the Massage Gun 2 compares very well to all of them. Looking at it from a product design and functionality point of view massage gun 2 really does tick all the boxes, its really well made, light in the hand allowing you to get into the hardest to reach areas of the body, the six attachments are really useful and the case provided ensures its kept safe and neat all the time. One improvement that I could think of is a document on routines to focus on depending on the sport you do. Theragun have this functionality built into their application that will detail where you should use the gun depending on the sport and how long for but the Theragun comes in at a lot higher price point. Some form of workout chart would achieve something similar and really complement the product. 

I would have no problems recommending this product to anybody who is looking for a recovery tool to keep injuries away and help your overall performance.
